My goodness I'm experiencing the weirdest nostalgia that I've ever felt in my entire life. I'm sitting here, waiting for Josh to call (crazy boy! he should really call me before 1am!) and listening to 90's and early 2000's alt rock music and wow...

It's the weirdest nostalgia ever. I remember when I was in high school and I'd get nostalgia when I'd listen to early 90's grunge songs...but omg the memories are flooding back. It's like my brain's transcended time back to 2003 and I'm 16 and dating Jayson and listening to 99.1 HFS and sneaking in and out of the house and doing crazy shit with my friends.

I think that the weirdest part about Conor being 28 today
was that I put on my BE concert shirt at 6am this morning
without knowing it was his birthday until about 10am!

Simply Frustrated

I am just simply frustrated right now.
I don't know if there is anything else to say.

I'm frustrated at things I can't control,
and then even more frustrated at myself for being frustrated about them.

I'm frustrated that I have reverted back into old behavior patterns
and that I'm not frustrated enough to change them again.

I'm ultimately frustrated at the amount of work I have to do by Friday,
but so frustrated that I can't focus enough to get it done.

My last night in Maryland...while I'm very excited about going back to school, I'm not sure if I'm ready, really.
I do have to be realistic, though...I can't just lounge around forever, spending my mother's money like she's a millionaire.
It will be fantastic seeing everyone again, I must admit.

No, I don't have an attic. Also, my first kiss was at age 14, in my basement, with Tim Bradshaw, almost exactly 6 years ago (it was 17 January, and yes it is pathetic that I remember that.)

The line just reminds me of one of the poems presented at the poetry slam that I went to with Kerri tonight, ( and I wish we were there now... )
